Ian Wallace is taking part in the group exhibition Field Work at The Apartment, 16 May – 20 July 2008.

Ian Wallace is participating in the group show The Constant Search for a Better Way at the Simon Fraser University Gallery from 20 June to 1 August 2008.

Ian Wallace is taking part in the group exhibition UN COUP DE DÉS, Writing Turned Image. An Alphabet of Pensive Language at Generali Foundation in Vienna, Austria, 19 September through 23 November 2008. The exhibition is curated by Sabine Folie and will be accompanied by a publication.

A joint museum project featuring Ian Wallace's work will take place in November 2008 at the Witte de With in Rotterdam, the Kunsthalle Zurich and the Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen in Dusseldorf. A major catalogue will also result from these exhibitions.

A solo exhibition of work by Ian Wallace will take place at Galerie Greta Meert in Brussels, November 2008.

An important survey/retrospective of Ian Wallace will take place at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 2011.

A catalogue of Ian Wallace's 2005 exhibition In the Studio, is now available at the READ bookstore in the Charles H. Scott Gallery. The publication contains texts by Clint Burnham and Ian Wallace.

Another recent publication entitled The Studio, accompanies the Jens Hoffman curated 2007 exhibition at the Dublin City Gallery Hugh Lane, with a text on Ian Wallace.
